Julia Estrada is a Broadway actor and creative strategist hailing from Northern Virginia.
A former competitive runner and swimmer, she discovered in theatre a new channel for the same discipline, focus, and emotional curiosity that defined her early years. That approach carried her through years of performing, including several on the national tour of Hamilton, but eventually led to burnout. In search of a different relationship to her work, Julia turned to the study of human behavior and went on to earn her MS in Organizational Psychology.

Today, she brings that research to life as a creative strategist, developing programs and initiatives that strengthen arts organizations and enrich artistic communities. She fell in love with Louisville, Kentucky, while performing there with Hamilton, and now splits her time between Louisville and New York City. She continues to perform while collaborating with Kentucky-based arts organizations to explore rural and regional arts strategies. Her work bridges the commercial arts landscape of New York with the evolving creative ecosystems of the American South and Midwest.
